Thank You!

Dad Army

Sometimes we forget one of the main benefits resulting from our men and women serving in the various branches of our Armed Forces which is the freedom they provide for us to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ! The founders of our country came here for religious freedom so they could make Jesus known and glorify God in the process. That freedom was eventually challenged and could have been lost if it were not for the brave men and women who pushed back tyranny and oppression and many of them gave up their lives doing so.

America became the greatest nation on earth in many respects including providing a place where people could speak their own minds without fear, practice their faith, own their own property, create their own businesses, form their own laws and state governments to name a few. This engine of freedom led to the creation of the largest missionary enterprise on earth as hundreds of churches and mission agencies were established and began sending out preachers of the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

If America would have lost the wars in which she fought down through the ages the message of Jesus would have been silenced and the freedom to practice our faith would have been lost. Think of it, if Hitler would have been successful what kind of world would it be? Bringing us up to today, what kind of world WILL it be if the Islamic ISIS is successful? Yes, it is possible for them to defeat America if we take our freedoms for granted and if we are not diligent but snooze like a slumbering giant.

Consider the words of the Psalmist in chapter 102: Hear my prayer, O LordAnd let my cry come to You. Do not hide Your face from me in the day of my trouble; Incline Your ear to me; In the day that I call, answer me speedily. So the nations shall fear the name of the Lord, And all the kings of the earth Your glory. For the Lord shall build up Zion; He shall appear in His glory. He shall regard the prayer of the destitute, And shall not despise their prayer. This will be written for the generation to come, That a people yet to be created may praise the Lord. For He looked down from the height of His sanctuary; From heaven the Lord viewed the earth, To hear the groaning of the prisoner, To release those appointed to death, To declare the name of the Lord in Zion, And His praise in Jerusalem, When the peoples are gathered together, And the kingdoms, to serve the Lord.

In closing I want to publicly thank these close family members for their service to our great country. My father (pictured with my mother above) Warren A. Wolfe, Uncles Clarence Wolfe & Wayne Anspach, Brothers Warren F. Wolfe, Bruce Wolfe and Frederick Wolfe.
